District Educational Stability Liaison

The Fostering Connections To Success and Increasing Adoptions Act of 2008 was signed into law in New Jersey on September 9, 2010 and requires the provision of educational stability for children placed in resource family homes. As a result, districts were advised to identify an education stability liaison to help improve outcomes for these students. The educational stability liaison serves as the primary contact for communication, collaboration and information sharing with the DCF and school staff regarding students in the district who are in out-of-home placements.
