Under the direction of Mr. Dragona and his fiscal management team, the School District has been consistently recognized for its professional management style and its efficient use of tax dollars.  Some of Mr. Dragona’s vision and accomplishments include:

  • Streamlined management through the establishment of Standard Operation Procedures and Internal Controls
  • Implementation and design of a state-of-the-art security system, radio, video and door access control to keep our students and faculty safe
  • Research and development of modern technology programs in classrooms and in school management and budgeting, while providing professional development opportunities that build capacity among staff
  • Obtain and administer millions of dollars in grants for both student programs and new school construction that align to his vision for the Union City Board of Education
  • Participated in the Community Eligibility Provision that provides all students free breakfast, lunch and afterschool dinner and snacks.
