Please be advised the Union City High School Freshman Orientation will take place on Tuesday August 20, 2024 for Union Hill Middle School Alumni and on Wednesday August 21, 2024 for Emerson Middle School Alumni. On June 19th, we celebrate the 159th Anniversary of the end of slavery in 1865 in the United States, which is known today as Juneteenth. It is a combination of the month of  'June' and the 'nineteenth' day that commemorates the happy news of newly-freed slaves in Texas at the end of the Civil War.

The Seal of Biliteracy Ceremony was celebrated on June 12, 2024. 170 students from Union City High School and the José Martí STEM Academy received the award from the New Jersey Department of Education. Congratulations to all! El cielo es el límite!!

Coach Valdez and Anthony Crawford represented Union City High School in the prestigious Phil Simms North vs South Game on Sunday, June 9, 2024. The game was won by the North, with a score of 20-18. Coach Valdez coached the linebackers for the North and Anthony Crawford led the offensive line.
