Several Union City schools participated in the Union City Recycle Regatta.  Students of grades 3 to 8 created boats out of recycled material.  Washington School placed first, Edison 2nd and Jefferson 3rd.  The students had a great time racing their boats but most importantly working together to build something great.
Union City STEM students collaborate, communicate, and create.  A Big thank you to Mr. Stephen Petric from Jefferson School for coordinating this special event and the teacher and students involved.
