Professional Development Academy Flyer

The Union City Professional Development Academy is a wonderful resource for our staff

The District Professional Development Academy hosted the workshop: The Alphabetic Principle and Phonics. In this session, teachers engaged deeply with the alphabetic principle and the role of phonics in building strong readers. They practiced strategies for explicit, systematic instruction and discovered ways to help students make meaningful connections between sounds and symbols.
