Joseph Isola

Joseph Isola is a lifelong Union City resident and a graduate of Emerson High School.

As a professional firefighter, he was a member of the Union City Fire Department from 1980 to 1999 and then with Hudson Regional Fire & Rescue before retiring in 2010. He was a Lieutenant, Captain and finally retired as a Battalion Chief. He also served as an instructor at the Fire Academies of both Morris County and Burlington County.

Mr. Isola attended both St. Peter’s College for Business Administration and Jersey City State College for Fire Science.

In his spare time, he enjoys reading mystery novels, traveling, spending time with his family and playing chess with his youngest grandson.
