The Office of Community Relations is responsible for a wide array of activities and programs, including the coordination of the Parent Liaison program in each school, as well as for all cultural activities.

 

     This Office also plays a critical role in establishing and maintaining partnerships with other governmental agencies, non-profit organizations and others involved in the School District.

 

     Community Relations sponsors a number of cultural and educational events throughout the year, including fire prevention education, breast cancer awareness, an annual winter coat drive for families in need, holiday celebrations and other activities. Community Relations also coordinates with the City of Union City and federal agencies to sponsor the annual Obamacare enrollment program, which has been a tremendous success in Union City with thousands of people enrolled in the past few years.
